• Proactive Two-Way Communication: Replacing retroactive notifications with outreach protocols. This ensures local businesses, landlords, and the Hermosa Beach Chamber receive advanced notices regarding local construction, street impacts, or policy adjustments.

The School Board Experience:

• During my 13+ years on our School Board, I took a disciplined, results-oriented approach to governance. I've helped manage over $100 million dollars in budgets, negotiated annual contracts with our labor partners, and maintained a strong reserve. Together, we passed crucial multi-million dollar facility bonds, modernized our policies, and protected our district's long-term financial health. We grew our enrollment by 10% since the pandemic, earned state recognition for award-winning programs and partnerships, and developed successful partnerships with the ed foundation and parent-teacher organization to raise additional funds.
