It is about protecting our unique beach-city character while driving a smart, modern future that lifts up every single generation. I promise to bring a waterwoman's perspective to City Hall to aggressively protect our beaches, our culture and access to public space.

• Designing streets, parks, and transit access for every stage of life, from a 5 year old to an 80 year old, because Maggie has personally watched her town age through those exact stages.

• Aggressively protecting beach access and public space as non-negotiable

• Keeping our people and businesses safe: continuing the same close partnership with police and county public safety partners that Maggie built on the school board, from hardening facilities to cross-agency preparation, applied now to our streets, beach, and business corridors.

• I successfully secured community trust to pass over $87M in local facility bonds (Measure S and Measure HV) and took aging, 21st-century campus infrastructures and transformed them into safe, high-touch, modern spaces that meet the needs of the community
